"Green Lantern" "The Question" & "Cole Cash"

"In the brightest day, in the blackest night, no evil shall escape my sight! Let those who worship evil's might beware my power---Green Lantern's Light!!!"

That above is a true piece of the Green Lantern lore... I heard it before somewhere a long time ago, but it's recited again in a great little story from the first "Bizarro Comics Anthology". I personally feel the second volume is superior, but the first has its moments including a fantastic Alan Scott (Golden Age Green Lantern) story by Craig Thompson. Below is a newly zipped Hal Jordan Green Lantern, its previous color version, and the framed original (as well as Matt Groening's brilliant cover for "Bizarro Comics")...

Now here is a character I really wanted to do justice. The Question, who Steve Ditko created after leaving Marvel for Charlton isn't is well known as Spidey, but I think he is equally as important to superhero comics history (and the basis for Rorschach, who everyone will know once March next year rolls around and "Watchmen" hits the cinema). Check http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Question_(comics) and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rorschach_(comics) for more info... I was extremely disappointed with how the original of this turned out, but was able to save it with zip. Below is the zipped original and grayscale version of the un-zipped original.

I didn't feel this kind of pressure with Cole Cash (Wildcats' Grifter). That bandana was to be his mask but I thought the eye-holes alone left too much negative space. Here is the zipped original, grayscale version, and color version of this almost anti-hero...

"Gorillaz As Heroes" "Iron Man" & So Much More!

Below is the original drawing of "Gorillaz As Heroes", the zipped proof, and a Photoshop color version of that. For those keeping track or confused Noodle is dressed as Spider-Woman, 2D is Daredevil, Murdock is Shade : The Changing Man, and Russel is The Maxx...

This here's another Blue Scribble that turned out alright. But for the record, Cap, at least the Steve Rogers version has not returned to the Marvel Universe yet. The possibility is there though, judging by that last panel of "Secret Invasion" #4.

Not too much to the image below. I just took a mediocre Myspace picture of myself from a couple summers ago and did a number on it in Photoshop. I call it "Knight Vision" as I original thought to put a Nolan era bat emblem in the lower left hand corner but thought that'd be too much...

And switching gears from one millionaire superhero to another, here is a color and zipped-out version of Tony Stark in an amalgam armor combining the best of the pointy-headed sleek armor, the classic 80s flex armor, and the extremis suit he currently wears in regular Marvel continuity...
